Join us for a dedication ceremony for this joint project between the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation and Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation for the new softball field complex at Lincoln Park.
The ceremony will be held at the new Abraham Lincoln Park Softball Field Complex, 4325 S. Pantano Rd., Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at 9 a.m., enter and park at the new Escalante Road entrance east of Santa Rita High School.
2004 Pima County Bond funds in the amount of $3,412,500 allocated for the Lincoln Park Softball Field Complex includes:
• four lighted softball fields
• lighted walking paths
• concessions building with restrooms
• vehicle entrance from Escalante Road
• lighted parking lot with over 200 spaces
• turf/landscape/irrigation
Participating in the dedication ceremony will be Ramón Valadez, Pima County Board of
Supervisors, District 2, Shirley C. Scott, City of Tucson Ward 4 Council Member, and Fred H. Gray, Jr., Parks and Recreation Director.
