Tucson Parks and Recreation Deputy Director John Sefton says the city’s partnership with the Parks Foundation is critical and even heightened in this economic downturn. “With more than 134 parks, 19 recreation centers, six off-leash dog areas, three skate parks, nine pools, a diversity of sports fields and dozens of special places for weddings and events in the City, we’re always looking for extra resources to improve the Tucson park experience,” he said.
