Arizona Parks and Recreation Association Annual Conference and Trade Show
August 30, 31, and September 1, 2011
Doubletree Hotel at Reid Park, 445 S. Alvernon, Tucson, AZ 85711
Arizona Parks and Recreation Association professionals will gather for the 61st Annual Conference and Trade Show hosted at the Doubletree Hotel Reid Park and Hi Corbett Stadium. Highlights include two outstanding General Session Keynote Speakers –
  • Jessica Cox, born without arms; defies the standards of a “two-handed world” as she redefines the concept of possibility on August 31 at 10:30 a.m.
  • Fred Schafer, performance improvement expert dedicated to moving others to perform better on September 1 at 10:30 a.m.
“Dozens of education sessions will promote a rich schedule of topics which reflect the need to remain relevant and contemporary in the field of parks and recreation. The presentations are critically important and underscore the need to avoid complacency and to reach out to new users”.
Win Holden, Publisher Arizona Highways Magazine
