Updated Tucson Parks and Recreation Parking Lot Maintenance Schedule

PARKING LOT MAINTENANCE TO IMPACT SEVERAL CITY PARKS

Tucson Parks and Recreation will be closing parking lots at several Parks due to asphalt overlay and striping.

Our goal is to provide park maintenance and upkeep with as little inconvenience to the public as possible.

Updated parking lot maintenance is scheduled to affect the following parks.
– Mission Manor Park – 6100 S. 12th Ave. – Southwest District – 791-5909
– Tues., June 14 – North parking lot (off Calle Ramona) closed for overlay, reopens June 16
– Wed., June 15 – West parking lot (off Santa Clara) closed for overlay, reopens June 17
– Thurs., June 16 – East parking lot (off 12th Ave.) closed for overlay, reopens June 18

– Joaquin Murrieta Park – 1400 N. Silverbell Rd. – Northwest District – 791-4873
– Tues., June 14 – West side parking lot. Closure will affect fields 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 10
– Thurs., June 16 – East side parking lot. Closure will affect fields 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 10

– Christopher Columbus Park – 4600 N. Silverbell Rd. – Northwest District – 791-4873
– Mon., June 20 – North side of the park.  Closure will affect the fishing lake and off-leash dog park area.
– Tues. and Wed., June 21-22 – South side of the park.  Closure will affect the airplane circles, boat race area, and equestrian area.

Dates of closures vary, time of completion from start to finish is estimated to be one to two days per parking lot.
